Final Round:
I saw this video today and thought it was hilarious! Just want to share this with all of you.
I found a cool video today about an artist named Samantha Kallis I follow on Tumblr. I have been following her for a while and last I saw she was going through the Nick Artist Program. She has since been successfully working as a Visual Development Artist and discusses her adventures in the video below! I found this very inspiring and the Nick Artist Program sounds great.
1. This should inspire your creativity to go round and round.
2. A collection of amazing paper artists all in one little book to enjoy.
3. "Designing Your Perfect House" by William J. Hirsch is not just for architects! It goes perfectly with "Setting The Scene: the art and evolution of Animation Layout" by Fraser McLean. They both evoke new thoughts on how to design space.
4. Some eye candy that also benefits a good cause!

My Pinterest account started as a fun place to kill time on the internet. Now it has become a big part of how I work. I like creating mood boards for projects I am working on and getting inspired by similar themes. I find it especially helpful when creating color palettes before I start designing something.
Right now I am in the middle of a few projects and I am pinning a lot to those boards. One of those is a illustration/character design page in my sketchbook about the Circus. Here is that board! I will post the finished project soon.
Recently I have created a board of some old family photos for myself to have digital copies to share with my other family members, friends and anyone who enjoys retro photography.
In my search for these photos I have learned a lot of cool things about my family. This is my favorite so far, a photo of my grandmother on my mothers side Norma Phillips in her 1948 gym class. I had no idea she was a skilled archer!
The start off sketches for a characters design on a video game project I am excited to be working on! More on this to come.
My mom made me these little airplane earrings for good luck with my application to a studio in NY called Little Airplane Productions. Thanks Mum!
Well I am off on a roadtrip for the weekend, see ya Monday!
