I have been updating my work for the year. I made a new portfolio site and animation reel. Feel free to check out both! :)
Maybe I should make new bussiness cards next?
This has been one of my favorite Halloweens in a long time. I have always wanted to dress up as Sleeping Beauty or Aurora or Briar Rose.....whatever you want to call her. This year me and my friends decided to be our favorite Disney Princesses on a budget. Instead of buying our costumes we put them together with whatever we had. For me that meant sewing. This was my first time sewing a full outfit. I have sewn little things in the past like aprons and curtains so this was a challenge. I am really happy with our costumes and had even more fun seeing the incredible costumes at the Halloween Parade in NYC. Here are some pictures from the day, night and our fun green screen photo shoot!
Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Belle
We are officially real Disney Princesses with the power of green screen.
A video I created for our award-winning AT&T Device Launch video
series for the Nokia Lumia 830. A combination of live action footage,
motion graphics and animation, showcasing the device. My
responsibilities included filming, editing, animating and designing. This is very exciting for me because this is the first video that I had full responsibility for and filmed.
However, just when life cant get any sweeter who but my little dog Mufflet steals my spotlight? Mufflet has reached stardom by appearing one of our Device Launch videos for the Kyocera! Check her out at 2:27!!!
I modeled the stylus for our AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Device launch video. This isn't my first model but its my first model that I did on my own without a tutorial that is being used for something other than sitting on my blog. I am really proud of how it came out considering how new I still am to Cinema 4D. The hardest part was those little ridges on the body of the pen. With every model I make I learn something different! I decided to make a little compilation video of my models animating on a plain background to really show the model. Here is the video its being featured in and then a little model reference video.
I'm really excited to show you this video. Not only did I help design and animate but I also had a chance to use my make up skills as the make up artist for this video. Cosmetology has always been a hobby of mine. In college I would do hair and make up for my friends studying fashion design for there runway shows. This is really the first time since then I have had a chance to do anything with it. Even more exciting is its for an AT&T video. I'm thinking of collecting some images to make a mini portfolio of my hair and make up work just for fun.
Famous puppeteer Fran Brill retires today after decades of showering us with her talent. I was lucky enough to meet her along with the rest of the Sesame Street family in 2009 when I visited the set. How did I get a VIP pass to Sesame Street? It just so happens that my Uncle also calls Sesame Street home and like Brill has been apart of the creative team since the very beginning.
P.S. She was also in one of the greatest films of all time "What About Bob?" Here are some photos from my visit!
Here is an image of my most recent model in Cinema 4d. This is the Unite Pro a great device for modeling because it posed a lot of challenges with such a complicated design.
I am sad to say my classes are over. Thankfully there are endless online tutorials for me to learn more. Although I think the most learning I do will be when I start incorporating the program into my regular work flow. The old saying is true practice makes perfect!
